I know what's wrong with him.
HE'S GOT A BUG! :P

eejits (George),
Please, do not take the following statement the 'wrong' way. The shadows, clouds, blade-less grass, and the very forms of the windows which you have so 'playfully' created all have helped me to see that I need to try to 'lighten up' and stop trying to force all that I do to be' proper', 'natural', or 'realistic'; I mean this in the very best way possible.
George and the equally talented Craig are fully qualified in two things...great art and fun. And that's what makes their work great!
How cool would it be, if those two worked together? ;) B)

Off to the naughty step...

Haha, he looks like he could do with a bit of birthday cheer.

This has been explained elsewhere in the forums...all three file extenions are interchangeable so...
AD can open AD/APh/APu files
APh can open APh/AD/APu files
APu can open APu/AD/APh files
This single format/multi-extention setup, allows for maximum compatibility as well saying which app created that file. So when you click on the file's icon the correct app will fire up and load the file for you.

Hi KumAffinity, welcome to the forums.
Would you like to elaborate a bit more on your question? As tethering to me, means linking a mobile phone to a laptop.

Let's hear for Ronnie and raise your glasses... "Hip, hip. Hurray!"

Well done Ronnie. Times Square and Piccadilly Circus are waiting for you. ;)

This isn't the first PS tutorial in here...Hmm, should we start posting AD an APu vids in the Adobe forums?

This is a valiant effort. So be proud of it!
The fact that you asked for positive criticism is a sign of continuous improvement and a true perfectionist.
Would a skull cap be cheating?

Cool thanks does a picture exist? I illustrated a time line of DrWho sonic screwdrivers a while back and relied on "Google research"
I have never met such hostile response before, ever, due to some stupid colour issues... it was a bit weird :)
Pssst..There's a few toys in this link,

Don't forget The Great Space Dustbin AKA a Dalek...a ray gun that has the user on the inside!

paolo,
My comment concerning the squirrel was merely meant to be taken as a part of my compliment on your excellent work.
justwilliam, what you have done is picked up the front page of Paulo's story and started to read the first page. This is what great art is about and that has to be a good thing. :D He's telling us a story and we're keen to see more.

He's probably staring at one of your paintings...feeling speechless.

Thanks for your input...all appreciated. Don't worry about reading too fast, your speed reflects your enthusiasm.
OK, now for my setup...I have no drawing skills, though I can trace with pencil and tracing paper. My camera is a Fuji s1730. I own a MBPro 2009 15". As for not buying APh, cost and usage. I'd rather concentrate on AD first, get to grips with it (like I did with DrawPlus 2.0, all those years ago). But I can say that I am looking forward to APu later on this year. So I'd probably manage with those two apps.
So with no drawing or photo training/skills, I am self taught. Some of the best tips I've learnt are actually from adverts. David Bailey has said a few things, I'll aways be quoting. These include taking his models for coffee, not just to hydrate them; but to analyse/frame/admire bone structure, whilst getting to know his model better. Emotion through exposure, that sort of thing. Simple, but he does produce the goods. As I said to Blind Lens "Train your eye".

Why mac only? Because there was no Serif (...Plus) on the mac, as it was only MS Windows only. :( Why Serif has stayed away from Mac OS for so long, I can not say.
So rather than make the Plus range mac compatible; why not make a better product range? This was to be called Affinity. Raison d'etre? Be better, faster, slicker than Serif's finest. Build it up from the ground; lo and behold Adobe now has a serious rival. :D

If you find that English is a struggle; then post your message in English first, then repeat that post again, in your Mother tongue. This way everybody will get a chance, to hear what you want to say. Also, if anything does get lost in translation, then a fellow bilingualist can help out with any problems that you may have.

That font and the clock...they are a perfect match for each other.

I thought the large Guitar Hero was written in Cyrillic/Russian, then it dawned on me that it wasn't. Doh!
The text was just back to front. Either way, I do like that font; what was it called?

Thanks ronnie, thanks mike, for your thoughts
It's been a while; but just like the CIA/The Firm, this lil' beanie missed its deadline...just a tad!
I decided to be brave and use the brushes to paint the clouds (fairly easy) by dabbing in the white bits first, then sculpting them, with a slightly bluer brush (think cotton wool with a few specks of blue added).
The sand dune's texture were too hard, for me to sort out, as was Stewie's shadow.
Results are below; as you've said...something drawn, is better than nothing drawn at all.
If I learn to master cloud creation, then that's another box ticked. I liked doing the clouds; must be the pilot in me. :D

Yeah! This should have a vertical and horizontal crease running through the middle as well as four staple holes.
Why? Because this is what I expect to be in a magazine as a for page centrefold. :)
how much of this was AD and how much was APh?
-
I only have AD at the moment. The file was a jpg and not a RAW file; so some of my options are li
BTW, that was some thought you put into that review!
