Ooh! Rotate on a plane: that's 'prop-air' useful. It's like popping decals on a model kit. Nice

affinity designer Who do you think you are? My family tree history.

Thanks, i've seen something like this before and yes, I do like Sapphire and Steel and Time Team. -
This Easter I took advantage of free weekend access to Ancestry's website. After a lot of digging and cross referencing I finally found the evidence that Dad's mum's uncle was a Labour MP called Davie Logan, 1871-1964. I was told this about 10 years ago by her sister, but it was her son, my dad's cousin who posted this fact on a forum. It turns out that he was the leader Liverpool Labour Party and had a tower block named after him in his local area (Vauxhall Liverpool 5, otherwise known as Scotland/Scottie rd). This tower block has since been demolished. Housing in this part of the world, seems to either be a 100 years old or demolished after 30 years. I was born in 1970, so I never got to see either so I did some sleuthing and put the photos together, this way you can see how things have changed over the years. Just wondering, is there a better way of doing this in AD, as I haven't got APh? Logan towers then and now.pdf

I didn't realise that his eyelashes are virtually non existent in real life. Am I the only one who thinks he would make the perfect Bond baddie? Or better still him and Trump and Kim Jong Un scrapping it out in the bear pit ala Two Tribes!- 14 replies

Come to think of it, who is the man behind glass? I reckon it is Peter Gabriel, give or take a little dental work. BTW his third and forth albums were redone in German.

Hi Ic3man and welcome back to the forums. You've nailed this one! To quote CartoonMike Doesn't having a good solid sketch to work from just makes vectorising a lot easier?

Well done Bigby, I like what you did with the font; colour, size, position. Works well against the teal background. The shape of the letter E suggests a teaspoon stirring action, as well as biscuits and cake slices...when your chosen font works, it starts to tell a story and that is brand identity. Your next lesson should be a mock up menu in the same vein; now that you have done the front cover, the rest should be easy. I've done a menu before in 1998 and that is a brilliant exercise in building your confidence and skills. If you were to show the finished article to your favourite cafe/bar/takeaway then any feedback would be very useful. Good luck. peter

Yeah! That's just what the doctor or should that be professor (Milgram) ordered for the 37. Keep an eye out at 1:17 for a certain dial in Burns' office. Based on a true set of experiments demonstrating obedience over morality...we do what we're told, we do what we're told...told to do (Peter Gabriel: So 1986) What an album! http://www.songfacts.com/detail.php?id=772

Hi Kasper, Love the old battery power meter. So does it work well when it comes to fake news? This would be useful at the old Facebook data scandal inquiry. Might go off the scale a tad.

Hmm, gotta point there: both are addictive, bad for you, overused, ubiquitous and out of control: a true Pandora's box. (Phew! Daily rant over)

This looks like Sykurmolarnir...an Icelandic alt rock band signed One Little Indian records, who formed in 1986 and disbanded in 1992. Band members include Bogomil Font, Bragi Ólafsson, Einar Örn, Friðrik Erlingsson, Margrét Örnólfsdóttir, Siggi Baldursson, Þór Eldon and some one who called Björk Guðmundsdóttir, AKA Bjork and her former band THE SUGARCUBES.
