[Automatically split character into artboards?]

I'm creating characters for animation and I'm wondering if it's possible to automatically move the individual parts to separate artboards for export?

I just bought this program and so far I really like it. However, my obsessive nature compels me to ask, where on the Mac hard drive are my custom assets stored? It would be nice to be able to select a custom folder under preferences so that I can back my assets up periodically.
