  1. Oh great Chris, that really would be good and helpful and very appriated. Cheers Jacobyte
  2. Hi Walt, Thanks for your Reply. I'm just surprised that nobody seems to mind, I find it extremely annoying to have to guess which brush I've just chosen for which tool. Dear AP development team, please take a look at this and fix this bug!? I can imagine that a lot of users would be very pleased Cheers Jacobyte
  3. Dear AP Team, I'm not sure if I'm the only one with this bug (I've posted it some weeks ago without any response). If I use a tool e.g. brush, selecting e.g. a 32px (selected brush is marked in pale blue), paint on the canvas, moving to eraser and select any from "dry media" (selected brush is marked in pale blue), doing my job and change back to the brush tool, the relevant brush is not marked anymore and I can only guess what I've selcted before. It's very inconvenient at work. It would be nice if you could fix this bug (at least min. since version 1.7) and if the selection in the panel is always updated with the respective assigned tool. You're doing a great job folks and I love your software
  4. I have now applied all the different tips without success and went back to version 1.7.3. There, all settings (size of brush and softness with the pen button) work with my Wacom Intuos Pro. I hope the Affinity Team will solve the problem soon. Otherwise it is not usable. It's really pity
  5. I also go back to version 1.7.3. Please fix the tablet problem soon. This is unbearable. By the way, If you go back to 1.7.3 you've to deinstall the actual version. Cheers Jacobyte
  6. Hi Gabe, It seems that ist solved. Can also not replicate it. I will see if it occurs during work. Thanks a lot. Cheers Frank
  7. Hi AP-Team, AP 1.8 is freezing by ALT+R klick on Intous Pro (PTH-651, Driver 6.3.38-2, WIN10) to de-/increase brush size and softness. Cheers Jacobyte
  8. Thanks for your reply, The problem for me is exactly the fact, that I've to add (also with 50% layer and it's overlay) color or b/w to the picture instead of adjusting (brighten or darken) existing pixel. This is a totally different effect and handled in PS much better because it is a real dodge & burn instead of adding color. Please Affinity-Team, have a look at it and there's may be a way of improving the Algorithm. Thanks in advance Jacobyte
  9. Hi everybody, I have a real problem with the "dodge & burn" tool. I have the feeling that I only apply light or dark color (B/W) with it and change or overpaint the image information instead of increasing or decreasing the exposure of existing pixels. This also happens if I activate the checkbox "Protect color". This happens with all settings (shadows, midtones and lights). This function is essential for me and I am very frustrated about it, because the results look very unnatural. Does anyone have an idea? Is the algorithm just bad? If so, dear Affinity Team, please improve this feature (it will convince many Photoshop users). Lovin' Affinity Cheers Jacobyte
  10. Hi, I mentioned that, if layer or other standard boxes (from RH side) are separated and in the near of the LH sided tools, the fly-outs are in the display background and covered by those boxes. would be great to haver them in the foreground (better usability). Cheers Jacobyte
