carl123 and HVDB Photography, WOW! Both of those look super better than the RAW. Ok, I know you said that it is too time consuming, but what is "the gist" of what needs to be done? What is it about the original image/RAW that makes it look like the way it did... I mean almost dimension-less, but also more drawing-like that photograph-like (sorry not sure how to explain it clearly)? Thanks, Jim

Hi, I have been taking some pictures of planes flying overhead (we apparently live near the flight paths of a nearby airport), and I had some pictures I took the other day when it was somewhat cloudy and the pictures appear kind of "cartoonish" (I am not sure how else to describe them, but they look more like drawings or paintings, rather than photographs). I have had Affinity for awhile, but don't use it very often, so I was hoping someone might comment about how these could be processed using Affinity to get pictures that actually look like photographs (or maybe that is not even possible)?
