Same happens here on Mac OS 10.12.6 I'll check on OS 10.14.6 later and if it does the same I will report back.
I also noted that trying to type in the second window would switch back to the first window.

Hello,
I have discovered a bug in Affinity Photo 1.8.3. When trying to select a font with two windows open the font gets chosen without my clicking and the inactive window switches to the front.

Ich verstehe das nicht, dass wurde doch schon bei Affinity Photo kritisiert.... Das ist ein essentielles Feature, wenn man dual arbeiten will. Sonst muss man doch alles doppelt machen.
I do not understand that, but it was already criticized at Affinity Photo .... This is an essential feature, if you want to work dual. Otherwise you have to do everything twice.

I've just updated to the latest iOS11 beta too and tried the "Import From Cloud" -> "Dropbox" option on the latest AP beta - no luck here too, not even with drag and drop.

and suddenly no more Import from Dropbox possible!
File selection works but then no import!

Yep, seems that you can't import RAWs from Google Drive either (but is fine with JPG's). DropBox can't even do the JPG's (done a quick check). Something isn't finished somewhere...

When you just updated this is no longer called a beta. It is with nearly 2 GByte the so called "Golden Master".
Unless some heavy bugs are found in the next couple of days this will be the release version.
So now the developers of every app that is not working as intended can go to work.
If the "locations"-button on the file-export-dialog is left out by accident or by intention this should be clarified with Apple.
Just my 2 cents
The latest update from today of the Dropbox-App (reading full support for iOS 11) doesn't help with the import problem either.
As the file selector box disappears with reading "loading" and AP is not importing, imho the fault lays here by AP.
