  1. I have some text and drawing elements with a white border. I want to apply OER that border another border, for example a black one.

In Illustrator I used "vectorialize border" so i could apply the second border to the traced one.

Affinity does not have any border tracing option so I can't understand how I can achieve it.

I DON'T use level effects because when I export the drawing, the text/element is rasterized and doesn't remain vectiorial (one of the poorest functionality of the program).

  2. if I use free hand tool for example in a set of photos.

If I select in the first on to use polygonal mode and "new boundary" mode, every time I swap from a photo to another I Have to re-select them they fall back to default free hand mode and "add boundary" mode.

same thing in perspective distortion: i HATE the grid it puts when hit the function. So I have do deactivate it EVERY TIME. There's no way for the program to remember , in general, last used settings, in all commands? Photoshop does, for example.

  3. Every time I open a new drawing or start a new work session, selection for example lazo, I need polygonal behaviour, and "add mode".
Everytime open a new file that modality has to be re-selected.

Same for the other tools, for example perspective. I hate the on-screen grid and I'd like to move the popup on a specifica port of the screen.

Every time, for every drawing it comes back to "default" position, grid present....

There is no way of making the program record the last used settings for tools and other?

  4. If I apply a shade to an object via the  shade tool on the left toolbar, I can define colors, direction, add passages and so on.

But if I have to edit that shade fill in a second moment, if I select the shade tool and i click the object, there's no way to view the already defined shade effect to edit it: I can always only apply a brand new shade if I make a double-click, or I drag the instrument on the object. NO WAY with a single click or similar to edit the shadow already in.

In the help says that selecting the object I would see the shade I've made, but it isn't so.

Am I mistaking something, or is not possible to edit an already defined shadow effect?
