Hi Dan, I switched to the SRGB profile in System Settings, re-enabled Metal and restarted Photo2. The problem returned, I'm afraid. 🙁 However, I think you are on to something with your second request. The attached is what it was set to. Changing to any other profile made the problem disappear. Switching back to that profile made the problem reoccur. I am going to select the 'This MacBook Air Calibrated' profile in future, unless you think I would be better using the Generic RGB profile? Hi Dan, Thanks for your helpful response. I can confirm that turning off Metal Hardware Acceleration has fixed the problem but will that affect the performance of the app? I have attached two screenshots from the Displays pane in System Settings, as requested. There is nothing attached to my MBA, so I am not using an external display and only the built-in trackpad.

I have version 2 of all three Affinity apps on my Mac Studio and M2 MacBook Air. All work perfectly, except for Photo 2 on my MBA. The background grey gets brighter if I move the pointer onto or off the image I am working on, or if I click the trackpad. If I stop moving the pointer, it goes back to where it should be, until I move the pointer again. I have tried adjusting all the preferences and settings for the Mac but nothing helps. I have tried changing the display profiles. It doesn't happen with any other program on the MBA. This happens on all images and if I transfer them to the Mac Studio, they work normally. The saved or exported file is normal. I have tried doing a screen recording and screen still grabs but the problem does not show. I have attached a short video from my iPhone to demonstrate. @MEB I had the same problem! Launch the App Store, select Updates on the left, then go to the menu bar and select Store/Reload Page. I am signed in with the same Apple ID. For what it's worth, this is my situation: 2012 iMac running Mac OS High Sierra (10.13.6) Installed released versions of Affinity Suite 1.7.3 Installed Beta Affinity Suite 1.8.0 How many days would you recommend to wait for the updates to appear in the Mac App Store?

I have Photo and Designer from the App Store and Publisher from Affinity. Is there any way of converting the purchases one way or the other? I don't mind which, it just seems silly to be split this way...

When I right click a file in Finder and choose 'Open with...' and select any of the Affinity apps, and that app is already running in full screen, or had been previously, it opens OK but the app continues running in the background, so it appears that nothing has happened. I would expect the computer to switch to the app, as it does with other programs.

Apologies if this has already been mentioned elsewhere but I regularly lay out Tables containing a company logo in each cell. Is this functionality available? At present I use Pages and export as a pdf. Is there another way of achieving the same effect that I have missed? Thanks for all the fantastic effort going into making this product. I have now deleted Photoshop and Illustrator from my Mac and use Affinity Photo and Designer exclusively. I look forward to doing the same with InDesign!

Hi Rjevela82, Thanks for your reply. Please would you post a screen grab of the contextual menu with the Delete Row(s) and Delete Column(s) showing? I have just installed on my other Mac and it shows the same bug. What OS are you running? How did you invoke the contextual menu? Right-click or clicking the triangle by the column/row heading? I'm on Mac and neither system works. The only way is via the menu bar/Table.

If you select several rows or columns in a table, there are commands in the Table menu for 'Delete Rows(s)' and Delete Column(s)' but they do not appear in the contextual menu.
