I bought Affinity recently, really impressed. I'm sure, haven't even discovered a 1/10th of what it can do.
However, one thing I'm missing in the area select tool (free hand, elliptic, square, whatever.)
And that's an outer and inner border of the area, so that, when you do an operation on an area (filter or layer like exposure correction), it does the operation between the two borders gradually and inside the inner area totally, preventing a sudden change over between inside and outside the selected area. It should also be possible to change the size/width of the border area (the area between to two borders)
If you know freeware LightZone, you will understand what I mean.
