I'm having this same problem. A circle with stroke aligned to center exports at 515 bytes. (Same for a circle without a stroke.) A circle with stroke aligned to inside or outside exports at 13 KB.

I too am trying to put a stroke on an artboard. The stroke option is available and I've set it, but it doesn't show. Is this a bug?
