  1. Hi to all Vectorizers. Hello to all of the Affinity Designer programmers. The ultimate way to say goodbye to A.... illu......... is to teach Affinity Designer to vectorize (AutoTrace). Die ultimative Möglichkeit sich von A.....illu..... zu verabschieden ist Affinity Designer das Vektorisieren (AutoTrace) beizubringen.
  2. Yes Please make Affinity Designer to open CorelDraw files. Its not necessary to write CDR-Files. Only import to Affinity Designer so I can save it in the Affinity Designer Format. The reason is, in the earlier days - exactly since CorelDraw 4 I have worked with CDR a lot for my private things like surprise my wife with Corel-Paintings and other things. A few years ago I changed to MAC and there was no CDR. Nowadays there is a CDR - BUT only subscription model for the MAC. If I would use the subscription model I would pay more in one year than for all versions since version 4. And I always used the older Versions of CDR (only CDR) because they were cheaper than the whole suite. I still have a lot of .cdr-files and I would like to activate them in Affinity Designer. Of course, I do not know if there are copyright or other restrictions only for importing into Affinity Designer. But I would be very happy to revive the old cdr-files in Affinity Designer. With a big thank you for Photo; Designer and Publisher. George

  4. Hi everybody My name is George but everybody calls me jay I've almost finished my 63rd year and I live in the beautiful country of Bavaria. (south-east Germany). My hobbies are making Music (45 years ago in a Rockband, now with a friend experiencing with MainStage and Logic Pro X). My other Friend is making T-Shirts (Foil cuts and much more). I convinced him of Photo - Designer - Publisher and the Workbooks. He also bought it. And whenever we call or meet, he swears by Affinity and the GUI compared to Adobe. (Did you already see that, or that, or that. Hey there are sliders, isn't that wonderful. And so on) Graphics (Affinity) and Video-making (Final Cut Pro) are also a parts of my favourites. First i've bought for the iMac; Photo - than Designer - than the two Workbooks. Now I own (after the betaversions) also Publisher. And for my wife's iPad - Photo. And to my great joy, I am now through with Adobe. I hope I still learn a lot with you. Btw. Are there plans for a "Publisher Workbook" Keep up the good work. and Thank you again. George aka Jay
  5. Hi everybody in this serif-family. I'm really happy that serif made 2 new famous programs with Photo and Designer. I have tested Affinity Photo and Affinity Designer on my win10 machine. Suddenly I had the chance to buy an iMac (from 2011) for a little bit of money. I thought this might be a good Idea to do my graphics-hobby with this machine. So I bought Photo and Designer. And a bit later I ordered the "Designer-Workbook" I must tell you; next to my decision to buy a mac my best decision was to buy Photo and Designer. My (2011) iMac runs perfectly with "High Sierra" (Beta) and the usual suspects. Thank you for making such good Programs. Jay
