  1. Thank you. By 'don't work' I mean that if I tick the hyperlinks option I get an error message on export and if I don't the document renders as a pdf but the hyperlinks aren't functioning, ie my PDF viewer (Adobe Acrobat, latest version for Mac OS) prevents clicking on them. The hyperlinks on my document look like hyperlinks and the hyperlink panel tells me that they are hyperlinks and has no warnings of any kind. Using a browser the hyperlinks point to valid links - I've tested them. I'm unable to generate a preview or at least I haven't waited long enough to see one. My pdf export preset is digital (high quality) but I've tried others and still get the error message. As requested I've attached a sample .afpub document that illustrates the issue, and the PDF I exported from it (this has no hyperlinks ticked obviously otherwise I wouldn't have been able to export it).   2. I'm running a Mac laptop with OS 12.6.3, using Publisher 2.0.4 which I've bought and am using for the first time. I'm thoroughly familiar with Photo and Designer. I'm unable to export Publisher files to PDF with hyperlinks that render intact, meaning they don't work. If I turn off 'hyperlinks' in the PDF menu they don't work either. I'd appreciate some help please because this is why I bought the app. Thank you.
  3. Thanks MEB. It happens unexpectedly or randomly using any of the tools and not necessarily pan/zoom. I'll try the spacebar next time it happens.
  4. I'm having the same problem that I've had in the past with Affinity Photo on a Mac running Catalina 10.15.5. I'm working on a photo and the tools stop working, meaning I can't get the icon or the functionality. I'm left with the hand icon. So i have to close the window and reopen the image. I have the layer highlighted. The same goes for the other personas. Obviously there's a bug somewhere and I'd be grateful if it could be fixed. Many thanks.

  6. I"m having an ongoing problem with Affinity photo 1.8.2 on a MacBook pro running the latest version of Catalina. With a jpeg some of the adjustments aren't working - I tried them all and I'd say around half. So no changes whatsoever with about half the adjustments which makes the application unusable. If I work on another jpeg things will be fine for a while then some of the adjustments start to play up. I was going to upload an .af file but it's too big. Anybody else having this problem and are there any solutions? Thanks

  8. I'm losing the use of all tools apart from the hand tool in Photo 1.8 with Catalina. This happens after I carry out a few adjustments or masks. I have to close the image and start again which is frustrating. Any solution much appreciated. Thanks.
  9. Thanks. Apple are not helping me here. I can see that I've purchased the product on the App Store, not the Mac store as you said, but there's no way I can access the serial key. First I should say the there was no information that this problem would arise when I bought the product and surely if its happening with me others will have experienced the same issue. I thought the idea was that I owned the product, but apparently I don't have access to my product any more simply because I followed the update instructions. Also I don't understand why I have to repurchase the Mac version when apparently the PC version updated without asking for a serial number.
  10. Thanks. Unfortunately the problem's got worse. I just spent half an hour on the phone with an apple advisor and have been unable to retrieve my orders because they were ordered under an old id, of which I've had several. I'll try again tomorrow but is there any way I can have my copy validated if I can't access the old apple accounts? I've been using Affinity for nearly 2 years on both platforms and never anticipated this problem. It would seem a bit unfair to have to purchase a new copy for Mac because of a lost id. Thanks again.
  11. I've updated my Affinity Photo for Mac OS and I'm being asked for my product key. I've tried logging into my account and it won't accept my password, nor will it send me an email to reset my password. This is very frustrating and I'd appreciate a fix. I also have Photo for PC and there was no need to enter the product key so maybe you could do this for mac users as well. Thanks.
  12. I want to buy affinity designer for mac osx. I can't find a download link anywhere, either on the app store or on the serif site. Going round in circles but no option to purchase. You'd think they'd want to sell the software. Any clues as to how to buy it much appreciated.
