I have the same problem with my Affinity Photo 1.9.0.932 Appears when using "Hardware Acceleration" combined with a live filter. In my case the problem disappeared when turning hardware acceleration Off. Same artifacts appears when using "Merge Visible" See Related Post: Square Artifacts

Same Square Artifact Issue with my Affinity Photo 1.9.0.932 Problem: I experience Square artifacts in picture when using - "Merge Visible" - Export to jpg It seems to appear when using "Hardware Acceleration" combined with live filter (in my case "Denoise") ,as mentioned by Alex_M. The artifacts appear in different places and color/content each time when I export the file or merge the layers in the same document.

Affinity Photo to new PC I have used the trial version of Affinity Photo and liked it so much that I like to buy it. My problem is that I am going to get a new PC in about 3 month's. So therefore my question is, can I by Affinity Photo now and in some way install it again on the new computer, approximately 3 month's from now, without having to by it again?
