  1. I have the same problem. Updated Affinity Photo to 1.10.3 and am using Windows 11 and a laptop with an I7 processor. Half-way thru processing in in Affinity Photo the program seizes up, I get a turning wheel and the message Program not responding. This virtually happens each and every time I load a raw picture to process.
  2. Just purchased this great program. But, alas, I have a problem to straighten the horizon in a picture. Can someone show me the way?
  3. Great! Thanks so much! Excellent program. Adobe will lose one of their customers when yours goes public.
  4. Just try the following: Copy the background layer of a photo, then apply the SCREEN filter to brighten the image. Then apply a mask to the copied background layer. Using the brush takes the affected areas back to the original background. Now use the opacity slider. It should work on the brushed areas and not on the SCREEN filter/layer. But, maybe, I approach this this wrong way.
  5. Having copied the background layer and having applied a filter, say SCREEN, to brighten up the picture, I decide to apply a mask to apply the filter only to certain areas. I paint out or in the areas I want, however, when I then want to change the opacity of the areas changed, the entire picture is affected by the opacity change. Shouldn't the opacity only affect the areas I changed? Am I doing something wrong?
  6. Under Adjustments In the Layers Panel the Gamma Slider can be moved from its default position. It would be nice to see a percentage left/right of the default setting.
