Of course, the weather is not crazy, but it naturally reacts to crazy humanity. Lord, let brain rain!

So if the only mechanism for setting a drop cap is some interactive feature, it may not be so nice in practice.
Yep. For serious users it would be (only) useful if the height (and position) of the “Q” in the video would be optically correct. Please make it possible before 1.2, Serif.
The same applies to an even spacing of big headlines. Serif could have corrected at least manually before the shoot.

The quick way is to use the Denoise filter.
Have fun and luck.

And Warp tool?
What is already possible in Affinity Photo: “The Mesh Warp Tool allows you to distort an image (or portion of an image) using a highly customizable grid comprising of nodes and lines.”
Much more help for Affinity Designer and Affinity Photo can be (searched and) found here.

Thanks, but this does not work because the filter command is missing. How to filter the locked ones for example?

Is it possible / How to preset or trigger a Custom Sort Filter without using “SORT BY”?
/&sortby=forums_topics.last_post&sortdirection=desc&page=1&filter=???????

This would end the discussion / situation with the low resolution previews and, above all, draw more attention to the Affinity suite and its benefits.

The Micro$oft Store version of the logo/icon is deliberately different, so that you can easily distinguish it from the desktop version.
@Alfred
The logo should look more like this:

It is about the basic principles of corporate design, not about feelings. You probably misunderstood something / wanted to miss the emoticon.

What's wrong with the logo in the Micro$oft Store, and why the quotation marks around the word "logo"?

1. it is not the logo, just an illustration with parts of it. For exampe you are not missing that stupid little tail?!

2. Mark Ingram wrote “icon”.

It was about the “logo” in the M$S and the basic principles of corporate design.

We weren't informed, or asked for artwork. They've taken it from the Windows Store package
But it could have been corrected since some time …
From a professional point of view, it is incomprehensible that Serif (or who feels responsible for the corporate design) tolerates very different variants.

Much worse is what was done with the logo, but Serif does not seem to care much about that.
Now 46 percent.

How do you make an own arrow font?
And how do you place an 'arrowhead shaped letter' (or a glyph) at the end of a path?
Moin, Moin, dominik.
-
One of the best workarounds in AD is “Text on a path” together with your own arrow font.

You know this absolutely?!
We already have bets.
The native format is secret and no other app can read it (yes, there is a different solution that does a good job). But again: “IDML […] will not make it into the initial release”
So if not IDML, why the native format?!

Affinity Software can not export to ai and not the whole psd format and can not open native ai (only the PDF part).

Do you know if Publisher is supposed to be able to open native InDesign files?
It will not be able.
“InDesign IDML files are something we would like to support. […] we will support them in the future.”

In other words, in the future there will also be an advanced selection (perhaps in a new Persona) that will allow even more complex selection editing?
Many thanks for the explanations, Ben. Sorry, we didn’t ask for a feature. Because you wrote “thinking about”, we thought about (what could be already on the internal roadmap and) what else would be thought. We did not want a Selection Persona. But perhaps it makes sense.
