  1. Which should not in this case because the app should do what the user wants. He understands it, but the app doesn't understand the user's intent. Is this described in the help?
  2. No new information. So again: Sunny Burnett wants that Strg-c works as it seems logical: If you have an active marquee (selection), Strg-c should do the same like Strg-SHIFT-c (or should show a window with selectable alternatives) … or is it a bug? It never had because it was from the clipboard!
Bananen-Software beim Kunden.
  4. No. You simply use a different command instead of Copy.
  6. Seems that Expand Stroke is advancing after all the years and seems that will be the basis for the other expected functions like a pathfinder. Hope ultimately dies after the customers.
  7. To be clear: This is the result of expand stroke, smart nodes plus outside of line: stroke was 1 mm
  8. Sometimes it works better, sometimes not, @MattP. Depends on the coordinates. Example with two duplicates:
  9. Would be great that this phenomenon would be explained in the help at last to prevent that beginners are surprised, complaining and so on …
  10. +42 better from Serif, because Affinity has not much AI yet but perhaps only a fine dream
  11. Because Serif advertises body text for ADe and because ADe has Artistic and Frame Text with Filler Text, ADe should have a complete Frame Text tool or none Frame Text tool.
  12. Of course, because we have real arguments: So if somebody wants to create posters or body copy, he should not buy ADe. Serif: “frames of text for body copy”. So this tool is incomplete since beginning and has nothing to do with a pseudo-argument “Photo users want Text on a Path, the Appearance panel, vector brushes”
  13. Why not? If we find the right arguments … perhaps like this one: People are disappointed … like Cuando because they thought they will get all tools in ADe to create one single poster.
  14. For people that use the beta productively: Just so that no misunderstandings arise: outside setting is no solution:
  15. better wait for the final version than use workarounds after all the years Edit: See this example
  16. What made us mad is that since beginning just changing the position changed the results, which has not stopped with 1.8
  17. Does not sound like a trusting attitude to the programming skills of Serif. Seems there is a bigger problem with macOS that Windows did not have or new features are being implemented that the Windows beta did not get last year.
