morrissigns reacted to Filippo in Roland VersaWorks Export
Hi all!
I'm a new AD user, and I'm testing the beta version for Windows. First of all, I'm very impressed by the software and I will definitely use it for my work from now on.
I too use Roland VersaWorks to create labels, t-shirt, etc. and I wanted to use AD instead of Illustrator. I've encountered the same problem as Macabi, and I've found a solution that works for me.
- First I've creater a Spot colour named CutContour (C 0, M 100, Y 0, K 0);
- The layer with CutContour must be above all the layers;
- The colour space MUST be RGB (I was trying to export the file in CMYK, but it didn't work);
- Than I've exported a PDF (for export) file, leaving the presets untouched.
That's it!
I apologize for my english, I know that I'm a little bit rusty....but I hope that this post can help the other users with the same problem!

morrissigns reacted to Signguy in Compatibility with Graphtec cutters/plotters
Thank you for your inquiry regarding Graphtec Studio and the Affinity Designer software. Due to Adobe Illustrator's pervasiveness throughout the industry, our corporate office includes a plug-in for it. For other software companies who wish to write drivers for Graphtec products, they may submit a request to our corporate office to receive a Software Development Kit. The link is here:

You may want to contact the Affinity software company to see if they are interested in developing drivers for Graphtec products and provide them with the link. If they receive enough requests, they might be willing to write the drivers.
Best regards,

I may be the only one for now but here is my request for this to happen sometime in the near future. I'd even be willing to donate to a kickstarter program if that would help.
