Currently Affinity Photo doesn't support RAW files from the Canon 6D mk2 either using our Serif Labs or if on Mac Apples Core Image RAW engines. We're planning on releasing our 1.6 update soon which should include added RAW support, however the new models won't be confirmed until closer release. You could also try using Adobes DNG converter, this will convert your Canon RAW files into a DNG which Affinity should open.
Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums.Your camera is not in the supported list, so you will need to adjust it manually and wait for us to update the software to include more cameras. Other users have asked this very question
