I agree this can be a problem in ones workflow. I also use MediaPro as my prime filemanager and use it most of the time as the starting point to open files I am working on. To overcome the problem of not importing Affinity files into MediaPro I use the export function of Affinity. I make a secondary file as a png, jpeg or pdf (whichever is the smallest). These will be imported by MediaPro and will give you acces to your files if you keep 'm in the same folder.
