I am also having this issue with some v.1 files in Publisher. I have also managed to open a file at one point and edit it but then it seems to hang* when I try and save it. *It doesn't crash as such but it doesn't open the file and it won't let me quit the app because it is still trying to open the doc. The files are stored on OneDrive. Publisher v2.2.0 macOS 14.0 MacBook Pro 16 2021 (M1) *** Edit - Just as I was typing this I left a file trying to open and it eventually opened (maybe 5 minutes). It is now opening any files almost immediately and saving without issue ***

Its ok, I found out how to do it using the 'Ignore space for same styles' checkbox (although I'd still like this checked by default).

When using Designer on a Mac I often need to compile a list and I'd prefer to have one line start right under the next line by default when I hit return. The default behaviour seems to be that it will insert a extra blank line unless I use shift+return. Is there any way to alter the default behaviour?
