I create most of the  Quizzes for my local bowls club and I always l try to make the half time break quiz a bit different. Most of the time I just hash a picture quiz together with no shape of form but I thought of this design for the latest picture quiz. the 16 Box layout and numbers created in Designer.  The rest of the work in Photo. I usually just pick images at random but sometimes with a theme.  This one has a theme which once guessed makes the quiz even easier.

You could say that the place has had ‘gone to the dogs’.

Most were reasonably easy, although some needed a lot of digging out from memory.
I got them all except one - the 'famous landmark' question has currently got me stumped.

This is a paper quiz round based on the Wheel of fortune a British television game show for the next quiz night at my local indoor bowls club. Everything done in Aphoto apart from the border around the letters and blanks.

Affinity Photo 2 seriously lacks behind in the smart selection area - it lacks behind photo shop, it even lacks behind simple smart phones without any additional software on the phones.
E.g. even the built-in smart selection function of Iphones is better (faster and more accurate) than the affinity selections tools - with a single touch on an object, the background is removed from the object and the object can be pasted whereever you want. 
Working with the affinity selections tools and the refine selection (or refine mask) is cumbersome and outdated compared to competitors' A.I.-based smart selections tools. Since creating masks is one of the most used functions in the postproduction workflow - not improving and closing the gap to competitors might put affinity photo in a situation where it looses market share.
I have already switched back to photo shop, because creating masks is such a time eater in Affinity Photo - photo shop and others free up valuable time for more productive activities. AP needs to catch up in this area if it does not want to erode its position completely...
