I don't know why but dragging files from the finder into this dialog is not working. And I don't think that this is a feature because that should be a default behaviour.

The critical bug in panorama generation for groups of people (see my earlier comment on previous beta) is still present in this release candidate. This is such an obvious problem that I'm concerned about it being carried over into the released product. It essentially makes the panorama tool unusable at least when used with groups of people. I should mention again that panoramas are working perfectly in the present (1.4.3) release. Below shows just one small detail of a large panorama most of which is correctly processed but there are a couple of other problem areas besides the obvious detail shown below.

I hope you filed a bug report so the devs can track it in their ticketing system. Forum post have the tendency to get lost.

What I am really missing is full RAW support. At the moment the stitched version is down sampled to 8bit. So all data is lost and doing grading afterwards is almost pointless.
Also I am missing drag'n drop to add images.
Nevertheless it is great improvement and I really like how the edit masks is implemented to fix issues in the panorama.

I played around with the inpaint brush and it is amazing! It really killed all the people which I didn't want in the image. Works really well and it is fun to use!

Second that. That would be a real improvement how to work with images. As much as I love what affinity serif is pulling of here the UI and basic concept of the "photoshop" workflow didn't change with Affinity Photo. It just looks like a photoshop clone. Which is a good thing to bring over all the old school photoshoppers but lacks improving the user experience.

Absolutely agree. It is available in Photo and I don't see why this feature never made it into Designer. For some displays e.g. epaper it is basically essential to read the pixel values. And the transform tab doesn't cut it really if you are dealing with resized vector graphics in some cases.
