Thank you all for responding! I'm leaning towards the Surface. No need to reinvent the wheel with and iPad. But I might stand by and save up for either the 128gb version of the Go or maybe even the Pro. My laptop is old, but instead of upgrading that, just get one of these. Again thanks for taking the time to respond!

I'm thinking about getting a tablet for basic browsing and whatnot and to run Affinity Designer on. I have been using the desktop (win) version for a couple of years and love it. I have never owned any Apple products. My desktop is W10, my phone is Android so iPad would be interesting but I'm sure I can manage. I'm not a professional illustrator just like to tinker with vector graphics for fun. With that in mind, would you recommend the iPad 10"/4/32gb for $250 or the Surface Go 10"/4/64gb for $300? Don't really want to spend more than that. Thank you!
