  1. Just kidding, So it seems like an issue with OpenCL using Intel Iris Xe Graphics. Whenever I don't have OpenCL enabled, I have zero issues. However whenever I have OpenCL enabled and try to generate a new document with preview record enabled, and the file hasn't been updated, it causes a crash. It will prompt me to try and update the file before generating the new file, and whenever I select yes, the program crashes.
  2. I reinstalled, and that seemed to fix whatever the issue was. Thanks.
  3. Thanks for the response and suggestion, The .xlsm file is just an .xlsl file with macros enabled, and the two macros I've got in the workbook only execute via keyboard shortcut. I'm not sure why that would cause APub to crash though. That said, I did resave the .XLSM file as a .XLSX file, and I'm still consistently getting the same issue. I've attached the .xlsx file in case opening a macro-enabled workbook makes folks nervous. Cheers! Lessons Data.xlsx
  4. Howdy, I keep having an issue where a publisher template I created causes the application to crash whenever I try to generate a new document using the data merge manager. I'm using the latest version (Affinity Publisher v2.2.0). I'm using windows 11 on a Samsung Galaxy Book 2, with 16gb ram, and a 12th gen i7 processor. I've had the issue happen intermittently on previous versions of the software, but the latest version causes a crash every time I try to generate a document with the correct data fields. I've attached the template file, and the data merge file. The sheet I'm trying to merge data from is in excel, Pentecost Year A. Also attached at the two crash reports from both times I tried it. 5. I also wanted to second that the new icons are clearer and much improved from the first set shipped with V2. Thanks for the update, cheers.
  6. I'm not sure if this is a bug, feature, or an overlooked quirk, but whenever I have my primary workspace undocked and I open a new document, the undocked workspace always resizes back to the smaller size when it was first undocked. It does this regardless of the size document I open, which affinity program I'm in, or what monitor I have the workspace displayed on. It's not the end of the world needing to maximize the window every time a new document is open, but it gets annoying and slows down my workflow when I have to do it with multiple windows on different monitors. If it's a feature, there a setting somewhere that I missed to turn the behavior off. If it's a bug, I can submit a request, otherwise I'll add changing this as a suggestion. I'm just not sure which one of those 3 buckets it belongs in. Below is an example of what I mean. 20221123_093914.mp4
  7. This is something that was requested in V1, and figured I'd re-suggest it. It would be amazing to search or filter brushes by name. I know you're able to filter page presets by name, and since people likely have a greater number of brushes than page presets, it'd be extremely useful to have similar functionality in brushes. I have over 200 brushes, and trying to remember what category I saved them in is challenging at times. Particularly, when brushes are displayed by their pressure graphs and not names. Not sure how hard it'd be to implement, but this would be a huge QoL improvement for me. Thanks for the continued updates and interactions with users. Cheers!
  8. @Chris_K Thanks, deleting that font fixed things, and I'm able to install with no issues
  9. I also am having the same problem with the same error in the log files. Many thanks for Publisher beta, and your help in advance. Perlsowisdom
  10. Random question, but is Affinity Publisher going to be the official name? It seems to me that there are quite a few programs named "publisher" and Affinity Designer is sometimes abbreviated AD, while Affinity Photo is AP, that could lead to confusion with Affinity Publisher as AP as well. We could always use something like APub, but branding with a more distinctive name like Affinity Layout or AL, would also be a workable solution. Just my two cents.
