I know this is kind of old, but this would be great. Adobe .aco at a minimum since most programs seem to be able to import those. Import/export of just .afpalette is pretty useless for compatibility with other programs.

Free transform and warp tools would be great.

I've been using Image Vectorizer http://image-vectorizer.com/ for a while and it works well for converting to B&W vector.

I've been wanting to get Publisher for awhile now, ever since the Beta. This looks like a good time. Thanks. Downloading trial, and paying for it next week.

+1 on this. I didn't realize we couldn't save in any ebook format except pdf, which is a terrible ebook format.

Any plans for adding character styles/decorations like drop shadows, etc.? Maybe replacing the not very useful underline and strikethrough character decorations with something that people actually use, or at least adding more decorations, like drop shadows, etc.?

Actually I guess what I'm asking for is a way to style Drop Caps separately from other text.

Is there any way to apply an outer shadow (or other effect) to a drop cap? I tried it with the drop cap selected, using layer effect, but it applied it to the whole text block. Not seeing any easy way to do this. If there isn't a way could it be added? Thanks

Yes please, especialy on the warp, distort, and transform. These are very useful for logos, SFX in comics, etc. I already love the gradient tool more than Illustrator's.

Preflight and color separations are pretty important for printing, which I thought Publisher is for. I don't mind going to Photo, or Designer for seps, but things like saturation percentages should be in in a preflight.
