[Can Affinity Photo read .xmp files created by Adobe Camera Raw?]

There are several non adobe applications that read and use the adobe xmp file metadata.  

I’m  hoping for an update on when Affinity photo will join the fray. 

Darktable, Capture One Pro, and On 1 Photo Raw already read Lightroom meta data in xmp files, and implement some of those Lightroom edits in their own software. 

[Adjust colors]

I see if I convert a raw file to b/w that I can adjust red or another color like I have a filter on my camera.  But if I keep it as a color raw file, that option does not exist. What am I missing?
