Thank you! So obvious… don't know how I missed that. Unfortunately it seems not possible to duplicate objects by using the arrow keys.

As many here I come from a background of Adobe Illustrator and keyboard shortcuts have been the backbone of my productivity. I must admit to find Affinity Designer — so far — a bag of hurt. Can someone please advise if it is possible to move lines, object etc by using the arrow keys on the keyboard? I have searched everywhere and am hopefully missing something really obvious. As an aside, I have acclimatised to Affinity Photo much easier, but Designer? Oof. Not so much. Thanks for any help.

Indeed. I asked about this a few months back and was told it would be available in "the next update"… well… here we are — still not available. For many of us it is an essential part of our workflow. This feature is thus far the only thing still keeping me attached to Illustrator. Come on Affinity!
