AD - Export bug - Layer effects messed up - Jagged outlines

One more question! Should I change my workflow, or is it a bug? The thing that make me ask is, if I copied the knight (before fixing it), and went 'File -> New From Clipboard', and then exported it from there, the issue didn't show. I guess it has to do with the knight being smaller (consisting of fewer pixels) on the art board with the the chessboard? Thanks in advance.

AD - Export bug - Layer effects messed up - Jagged outlines

I have tried exporting to .png and .tiff. The .afdesign file is now attached. Can you please delete my project file after you have looked at it?
  5. Hi, I am having problems with my current project I am working on. I am making a chessboard with pieces. If I export only one piece, it looks great, clean smooth outlines. But, if I export the whole chessboard with pieces some outline effects becomes jagged lines instead of smooth outlines. If you look at the two attached pictures you will easily see which one is the exported one and which is a screen shot from AD (how it should look after the export). Please get back to me soon, I have a deadline very close and I can't finish my project as it is now. I would be very happy if a developer can look at my project file. Thanks in advance. Edit: It is not that the second picture is zoomed in (pixelated), the problem is the extra dots that have appeared (on the chest and on the lower part of the mouth).

  8. Redesign concept of the Steam client. This concept aims to make the navigation of the app more intuitive and giving it a clean, smooth, more visual appealing design overall. More screens will follow in the future. What do you guys think? Feel free to follow me on: Dribbble Behance Twitter silentandclear.com (revised version of Original project)

(AD) Steam redesign concept - critique wanted

Thanks Ugarz, You raise a valid point regarding white space. I need to figure out a way to improve this aspect of the design. Maybe I even have to remove some elements. I have also received critique for not making the typography help the user (more contrast in font size and weight for example, this is also something I will change. Another part of the design that seems to have been a mistake is the main element not being aligned at the top elements to the right and left. I myself liked this, but it seems I was wrong. Do you agree on these points as well? Your input is much appreciated my friend!

Export to PDF bugs (Affinity Design)

I have made a design that will be printed. CMYK, 300dpi. I had to export it to .tiff since the PDF export didn't work. The exports look different on windows and Mac, the exports does also not include my arrows for some reason. I have tried converting everything to curves, but the problem is still the same. The arrows simply does not show on the PDF-versions. Can it be that the opacity gradients are buggy with the CMYK profile? This is troublesome, since I bought the application to complement SKETCH for print work. Does anyone know how to solve this?
