Hello R C-R, maybe you got me wrong. I want to restore the prefs and use the old version to note down what I all changed. I bought Designer in the Apple Store, so the latest version available for me is 1.6.1 (apart from 1.7 of course). So my question is, what folders and files do I need to restore to get all my prefs and settings back to my previous setup for version 1.6.1?

I have a TimeMachine Backup of my Data. I tried to restore /Users/<me>/Library/Containers/com.seriflabs.affinitydesigner/ and launch the previous version to do screen shots or export the setting. But restoring this folder did not help. Can you please tell me which folders I need to restore to see the setting in the old version again? This is a major problem for me. I adopted everything in Designer (and Photo) over the last months but now I can’t tell you what I all did to make Designer feel so good. All I know that I need to restore ASAP in order to get back to work.

Same here! In addition, all my custom swatches are gone.

As a macOS User, I prefer to use the “Separated Mode”. Here it is even more important that document windows auto re-sizes when you zoom. Also under macOS, if you Option-Click the Green button in the title bar, please do not zoom the window to fit the screen (see 2-bad.png), moving the window under the tool bar and all the panels. Make use of the space between the panels (3-good.png). Have a look at the screen shots. Also notice that the document contents is centered in my wishlist picture.

As we see more and more user switch to Affinity products, we would like to be able to create Thumbnails and Previews using an automated server process. For most image formats our system uses ImageMagick. Is there any solution? Not necessarily ImageMagick.

I tested it in beta 5 and it is really great! Can wait to get the 1.6 release!!
