  1. +1 I think it was already suggested here... https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/936-layers-panel-behavior-jump-to-the-selected-element/ but it's a MUST HAVE!!!! as you say, when working with hundreds of layers.... and even less!!!
  2. Aprox 4 hours. I'm on the architectural thing, that's why I would love more precision features in AD :) or being able to import DXF format from Autocad or another architecture programs.
  3. Good icons Ronnie although i would prefere more vivid colours :) not so "turned off"
  4. +1 for that OppiXP ... and please, make the "close button" (his colour) more visible on the tabs that appear while having the cursor over it.... Woldn't be so difficult... I think....
  5. Thanks so much.... would be great being able to do the same with brushes... for sure in the future :) Creating Community! :)
  6. +1 to those three!!! with the first one sometimes could be a problem (it was argued some weeks ago) while using another tools, but i'm sure these guys would figure out to get a correct behaviour.
  7. If you purchased already the app, and you can't wait for the appstore official update, you can downdoad for free the Beta that solves that issue... just download it and use it. Here the link: https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/2287-affinity-designer-customer-beta-1019988/ It's beta but works perfect :P
  8. Looks pretty amazing :) I'm looking forward to get a wacon. I don't know for you, but for me, if i want to transform any figure, the space where appear the skew , rotate or scalling simbols it's too tiny.... I can't hardly manage them... 1.1 works the same... I don't know why i didn't realized before... I'm in Yosemite. Now it works.....
  9. I like the way it's explained, very clear I love this feature too... http://vimeo.com/110124748 ...but could it be even greater and more powerful. I imagine being able to see in real time the "relative distances" (X,Y coordenates) of the "copied star" from the center-to-center or side-by-side (or both) of the original star. And to be able to see how much (in %) it's that star being increased or decreased in size. (being 100% the size before scalling it) https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/1173-scaling-bitmaps-and-vector/&p=4944 ....as well as it's occurs now with the rotation. I hope my beloved smart-guide-visualization (or sort of) it's implemented soon. https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/847-smart-guide-distance-visualization/
  10. I think it's the most clever idea... to have the proper tools on every of the suite's app. and being able to switch between them with ease. I love AD because it's lighter and faster than other similar apps and will be for sure even a bigger tiemsaver in a few months with the updates and features to come. ;)
  11. Of course the tutorial have to be done when lots of behaviours that are to come are implemented. :)
  12. +1 , I love bigger icons :D and big screes and resolutions would love it too!
  13. It's to come I thnk :) "Font sub-setting control" (I think it's that what You mean) https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/842-affinity-designer-feature-roadmap/
  14. Por el momento no hay que yo sepa, pero con la llegada de nuevos idiomas a AD seguro que alguna salta por ahí :) ... y nuevos videos en youtube para aprender a usarlo, tutoriales.
  15. I was sure of it :D hahaha.... By the way, relative big strokes make losing softness on the edges. They looks like polygon rather than a curve. And one more thing, if i wish to set an stroke bigger than 100pt i can use the keyboard to set it, but if i want then ... to make it a little smaller, with the controller to reduce it... it'll be transformed instantly into 100pt again... and again... doesn't matter the number it was entered before. (See Attached Video) 2014-10-24 18.41.45.mov
  16. I didn't understood it as a demand :) i only think that meanwhile, we have to use 2 programs :) ... until , finally we can be free from Adobe $uite's apps
  17. Well, I have visualized something and make it (with AD :D) Actually , the grid on the background it's cool but useless.... because can't be used as a real and precise guide. My alternative (alternativa) it's to keep the background clean... and with (for example) the ALT or SHIFT key.. to make those horizontal-snap-guides appear on the background. The guides would appear under those "pressure nodes" that aren't selected so i can move the one i have selected and make it coincident to any other if i wish to, knowning i'm making the pressure exactly equal on those 2 points (as it ocurrs, it the example, with the to nodes on the bottom) This way, if i wish precission or equality of pressure... i use the ALT or SHIFT key to get it... if not... only have to move the nodes where i wish.
  18. before asking I was making some testing... with all the usual shortlkeys... but i couln't get it. I forgot to select an ending node... (i don't know why it's that necessary....) Yes it doesn't looks very easy to understand... let's see what can be done...
  19. Use ALT key while pushing on the green button... and won't be a Fullscreen , just maximazing. I hope somebody creates an app to manage this behaviour :)
