+1 and please, make the layers panel "jump" to show the actual element on the window. :) it's essential when working with hundreds of elements.

It isn't what I exactly mean, I would like that AD would run a certain template (dimensions of canvas, resolution, guides, presets, colour palette,...) automatically when opening the program. It's just a timesaver.

I just wanted the possibility of starting the program with an opened (desired) file already... without having to click anywhere.

Maybe must be both of the Affnity Apps in the same folder...

What about being able to preset default folders for opening/saving files ...and to create templates that could be set for default new projects? it's a good timesaver :)

Does the DPI resolution has anything to do with it? At 100ppp the 100% it's slightly smaller than "real" A4.

A tool it's a good tool when it's specific for a certain use. For many different applications better have different tools... that's a suite :)

Cropping the canvas it's essential , without having to input numbers as bigeyex says. The Export-persona-slice-mode it's fantastic but including cropping canvas / infinite canvas / pasteboarding / ... would be great.

Affinity should continue listening at their user but, following their own roadmaps... consecuently to the program they are developing :) Many features requested are more properly a question of Affinity Photo and Publisher, but... right now they are not here so people do ask for them to be implemented on the designer app. Just take care of those questions for the future apps of the suite :P

Actually , to do the zoom with the clickwheel (I use a Logitech mouse) must be keep clicked the wheel down and rotate it... what it's weird. The zoom tool should work by only rotating the wheel on the mouse. As it ocurrs in other apps.

I think it's a thing for AffinityPhoto ... anyway... if a gif image (image's sequence) can't be created what's the point of exporting it as .gif ? ... (maybe there's a reason)

What about this ? :) a context menu (on every side)... to choose the view mode and for closing the dual mode. Going everytime to the main menu at the top to change it... it's slowww.

Would be great too being able to edit the name of the slice by double click on the title bar. And an option to center the slice with the shape which is going to be exported.
