  1. Thanks MEB ... :) i haven't find that combination yet :)
  2. I can rotate an object from his center. I can rotate an object from one of his corners in the "moving window", by taking it from the opposite corner with the Ctrl key clicked. But, how can be an object be rotated from another point (axis)? P.S: The same with scaling (although I think at the moment, no object can't be scaled from his center)
  3. In my humble opinion, 1.- Locked groups shouldn't be able to be deleted on the layer's panel. 2.- Layers cointained in locked groups shouldn't be able to be deleted or moved individually from the rest of the elements on their group. 3.- Locked elements situated on unlocked groups shouldn't move when the whole gruop does. 3.- When working with groups that cotain a HUGE number of elements... it's quiet useful that the layer's panel could "jump" and focus the selected layer, even if that layer is out of sight on screen because the vast list on them. https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/936-layers-panel-behavior-jump-to-the-selected-element/ 4.- When the opacity of a group it's 50%, shouldn't all the elements contained on that group atutomatically be labeled as 50% opacity as long as they belong to that group (by hierarchy)? * I call "groups" to those layers who contain others. I understand that every of these points maybe has good and bad things, but it's all about the program's language an finding the best behaviour for handling it.
  4. Ok :) thanks :D i understood now, would be great! Yes, it's useful sometimes being able to copy the Effects and the color from one object to others.... as well as, in other cases been able to copy it without "coloring it" For example. I want to copy the shadow efect from the pale pink element to the rest of them, but keeping every color.
  5. Excellent Matt, it's confusing when losing elements' control when they are not inside the canvas. Would be nice at least to have their situation clear every moment (as if they were select.) althought they aren't seen at all... A sort of this.... What you think? :)
  6. It's there a possiblity of getting this? 2 objects , 2 colors, 1 object has a certain effect (shadow, stroke, 3d) ... i want the same in the other object but i don't want to change his color. What can I do?
  7. I have think of it and make some comprobations. https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/1162-useful-user-feedback-from-my-first-affinity-project/&p=4533 I think the actual way of copying pasting it's the best... respecting the coordenates, or centering if those coordenates of the future canvas are out of it.
  8. I have made a comprobation... those are my results and opinion after it. https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/1162-useful-user-feedback-from-my-first-affinity-project/&p=4533
  9. I think the actual way it's the correct one.... respecting the coordenates on the copy/paste. For example. 300x300 pixel canvas, circle on it. copied. Pasted on a 3000x 3000 pixels canvas. On the reverse mode, if the canvas where is pasted it's smaller in size... and the coordenates are out of it .... the object get pasted in the middle. :)
  10. Would be useful the possibility of using the contextual menu while working on the layers' panel too, for example: duplicating layers; copying/pasting styles between those elements/layers... etc... without having to go everytime to the edit item on the top's main menu in the program. Actually the duplicate or the "copy/paste style" option doesn't appear on it when been able to use this menu at working on the canvas.
  11. When dragging an image (for example) to Affinity, it's placed on a new canvas automatically... it's that what you mean?
  12. 7.- I agree with MEB ... but you can even DELETE it on the layer's panel! .... (what's the point of locking a layer if i can detele it by mistake on the panel...???) ...anyway, maybe there's a functional reason i missed.
  13. Already implemented my suggestion :) great!!!!! :) THANKS!
  14. Been able to personalize the grid depending of the needs would be quiet useful!
  15. +1 Would be very useful when working with "texts" for example.... it's annoying to find you have created another text element when trying to desect one.
  16. I agree with that, texts are elements too :) as any other figure or object.
  17. It's quiet useful, i indicated that on one of these points.
  18. Sure Andyajon, use a calculator to know the relative distances of objects it's too slowwwww and exasperating....
  19. I understand Ben, it was just an idea. I can wait 6 versions for that to come :D That looks fantastic Nichod :D would be a dream come true!!! :)
  20. For me (I'm too Autocad's user) the perfection would be been able to zoom ONLY with the mouse wheel and moving the whole canvas by keeping pushed the mouse wheel. (forgetting about alt, command , option ....) better use one than 2 hands. It's very useful, fast and the natural way of going from one to other place in the canvas...
