I wonder, is there any update on this front?

Hi, I love the software, but miss some crutches I often use in other software. I would like to request that I can show/hide highlight clipping alerts in the photo persona. If I push e.g. a levels adjustment too far, I can see where in the image I am clipping, and decide whether I want to back off.

Ah, that's what I've seen once while testing. Had forgotten how to get there.
But: what about clipping warning in the curves tool? And there are so many other possibilies to introduce clipping to a picture. The Lightroom solution looks perfect for me, with the triangles in the histogramm and the alerting colours in the picture if clipping occurs.

Hi, I love the software, but miss some crutches I often use in other software.
I think it would be convenient to have a few preset white balance settings in a drop down menu in develop persona. E.g. As shot - Sunny - cloudy - shade etc. that usually helps in finding a good starting point for wb. I guess it would be great if demanding individual users could tweak these to account for their specific cameras, but for me that doesn't seem necessary. At least, rawtherapee works for me perfectly this way.
