  1. Many thanks MEB. I have now got it sorted, after playing with it for a while.
  2. I have been using the NIK plugins for some time on AP 1.4.2. However, I downloaded the Beta version yesterday, but am unable to get the plugins to launch on Beta, 1.4.2, no problems. Can someone please tell me what I am doing wrong?
  3. Is it possible to merge multiple images in AP using the Nik HDR Efex Pro 2 plugin, if so, how?
  4. Don't we already have it, File> New Stack?
  5. Had a quick go at what you suggested, which I think worked quite well. many thanks for your help.
  6. Thank you for your prompt reply. I converted this image using Picasa, which I no longer have. I simply converted the colour image to B&W and then brushed away the layer over the flower, revealing the original colour to the flower only. Is there a tutorial in AP which explains this procedure? Alan
  7. If you batch convert your 80D CR2 files to tiff using DPP, would that work in AP?
  8. Thank you for your prompt reply. looking forward to the Beta update sometime in the not too distant future.. :)
  9. I have downloaded and installed the Nik collection, but I am only able to use a few of the apps, see below, what am I doing wrong?
  10. Hi MEB I don't have Photoshop on my computer. I only have Affinity Photo, DPP and Apple Photos, which path do you suggest I use?
  11. Where would you suggest installing the Nik collection on download?
  12. Can I add DxO Perspectives to my list of plugins in Affinity Photo, if so how do I do it?
  13. I think I have found the reason for not being able to transfer files to other apps. For some unknown reason when exporting, I had clicked on png instead of jpeg and png is not supported on the other apps. However, the lack of data still remains on Flickr... :(
  14. One other thing that I have just noticed is. I am unable to transfer an image which has been processed and converted to jpeg with AP into any of my other apps, i,e, Canon DPP, Apple iPhoto, or Photos. When I click on the app, they show greyed out. The image below is a test shot to show what I mean about the missing data on Flickr. Image 28-02-2016 at 07.18 by Alan Perry, on Flickr
  15. If I upload images to Flickr from their site it will show my camera and exif. However, If use the Share button to upload from AP, there is no info showing. Do I need to set something on my computer to rectify this?
  16. I agree it would be great to have that facility, but I simply move the top, bottom and side lines as necessary, but it can mean you lose a part of the image if there is something important close to the edges... :)
  17. No, I had already tried that, but it didn't work. Then my reply to Andy in post 17 got me thinking, so I decided to upgrade my computer software to El Capitan, which solved my problem. I probably should have upgraded my software earlier, but everything apart from this glitch was working fine.
  18. Good news. I have just upgraded to El Capitan and the Share Facility works perfectly now. Many thanks for everyones help.
  19. Thank you for all of your help. I have downloaded version 1.4.2 (Beta 1) this morning, but still no luck.
