  1. Just tried another one which didn't work and this is as small as I would ever want to go. Uploaded fine from iPhoto, but I really do want to use Affinity for my processing. Lets hope one of the experts can suggest a solution Image 10-02-2016 at 11.20 by Alan Perry, on Flickr
  2. Addendum to my last post. Is there anything on the Flickr site that I should be doing to add Affinity?
  3. I have tried everything now and still no luck uploading. The banner comes up to say that it has uploaded, but when I go to my Flickr account there is nothing there. The only way I can upload an image is to open it in iPhoto and upload from there.
  4. Hi Andy just tried the same image in 8bit tiff and that wouldn't upload either, but if I open it in iPhoto it will upload with no problems. In fact, I am unable to get the Flickr connection to work with any image on Affinity.
  5. Thanks guys for your replies. I have tried again this morning, but no luck with Affinity. However, I tried to share from iPhoto and it worked perfectly, see below sample shot. IMG_1072 by Alan Perry, on Flickr
  6. When I have converted an image from raw to jpeg with all of the adjustments i want, I click on the share option to upload to Flickr. It says that it has been uploaded, but when I check on Flickr, the images isn't there and I have to upload it from my computer via the Flickr uploader.
  7. If I click on the share facility to upload an image to Flickr, it does not work. I have to go to the Flickr site and manually upload from there. Any idea what I am doing wrong?
  8. I find all of the tutorials impressive, but why move the curser so quickly, please slow down a bit.
  9. I am having exactly the same problem and was about to post the same question, but Paul beat me to it.
  10. The Haze Removal Filter is in the Beta version, which can be downloaded from the App store.
  11. The Haze Removal filter is a fantastic addition and applied with care can completely change a landscape photograph. Please keep up the good work, Affinity.
  12. I agree that the videos are far too fast. I find myself having to replay the whole thing.
  13. I like this in AP, it at least allows further cropping whilst still there, which I often do. I also use it for uprights/verticals too.
  14. Is it possible to add a tag or a title to an image, similar to the one in the screenshot below I.E. IMG_1166.jpg Viv 28?
  15. I have got it ticked, see screenshot. I have even signed out and back in a couple of times.
  16. If I have been away from the forum for a couple of days and click on 'View New Content', I get a message saying 'Sorry, no new content found'. I know this is incorrect as there are numerous posts I haven't read. Any idea what I am doing wrong, or have I inadvertently reset something? :)
  17. Just got round to reading this thread and I would agree with James. Photo stacking is an important part of any macro photographers work flow and would be a fantastic addition to AP. Please give it close consideration for future upgrades... :) Alan
  18. Thanks for the welcome and the information. I have now downloaded the app and it looks fantastic, also congratulations and a big thank you to the team for all the hard work.
  19. Probably a daft question, but when you download the full version, does it uninstall the beta, or does it just convert it? :) I shall be downloading tomorrow.
  20. Thanks Dale, but item 4 on your list (features page) is not loading i,e "Error 404- Page Not Found". Alan
  21. Hi everyone. My name is Alan and I am a newbie to the forum. I am retired and live in south Lincolnshire UK. I have been taking photographs since the early 1980's using my Canon T90, which I still have, but rarely use these days. My DSLR cameras are both Canon, a 7D and an EOS-M, together with an eclectic collection of lenses from Canon, Sigma, Zeiss and Hellios. I hope I shall be able to add something to the forum and indeed to the beta version of Affinity. Since downloading it earlier today, I must say from a quick look, it appears to be just what I have been looking for. :) Cheers, Alan
