  1. Unfortunately Designer does not support macros, it appears to be restricted to Affinity Photo on all platforms Angelos.
  2. Very nice work ! There is a dedicated section for sharing your nice work, it’s not good to post in the questions area as it will overwork the staffers on their tea break. https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/forum/10-share-your-work/
  3. Can you post here an example CR2 file that you have a problem with for people to check.
  4. The common work around is to draw a rectangle the size you want larger than the canvas, select unclip canvas then clip canvas to the new size, finally remove the rectangle.
  5. That is correct but as I understand this there is not much Serif can do about this as it’s an IOS Photos issue which simply does not present the RAW files to the share extension, instead it offers an optimised jpeg version to other apps and the share sheet. Fingers crossed IOS13 fixes this.
  6. As stated above this feature has been available for a very long time. 7EAD26BD-89A9-446F-9693-7FBBFF0A4FE1.MP4
  7. Select the group in the layer panel, select the three dots and choose multiply. FF28244E-4CBA-481D-B55F-D887794846C6.MP4
  8. Try picking up your layers and moving them around, look for the blue line types you can see. Because your layers are indenting you are masking one layer with the other. You should try to get your layers on top of each other without indentation. See my examples below paying attention to those with indentation and those without. Edit: Ignore the video bottom right of my screen recording, I was watching Watchdog on iPlayer at the same time lol. 7F90C090-2204-40B5-A6A1-C0B5068B98D4.MP4
  9. I have had no problems rotating text around a central point in this example. I created the top text JAN on a circle then simply duplicated and rotated by 360/12 degrees 11 times, finally select each text layer and edit the JAN to FEB, MAR etc
  10. Yes it would be useful, what was the app that you mentioned implemented a hover function, I presume it was some sort of NULL tool that behaves like any other tool but does nothing more than anchor a start point. Edit: Or as a modifier to any tool eg two fingers on screen when placing first point, when snap occurs lift two fingers to start line, circle etc from that snap point.
  11. Using your fingers not pencil, select first layer with one finger tap, select last layer with two finger tap (awkward but works!). FE4474CA-8AC3-4E8A-9B35-732A56A13DE4.MP4
  12. Can you upload your design here for others to check or can you do a screen recording of your problem?
  13. If you upload your afphoto or afdesign file here someone may be able to help. Alternatively a screen shot of your layers panel would help.
  14. Have you tried closing all apps down and doing a doing a restart on your iPad, press home AND power button together continuously until you see the Apple Logo or see this article. https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT201559
  15. Unfortunately on the iPad you have to do it in multiple steps, first draw your circle, then draw your line, then move either the line or the end point of the line to get a snap to the centre of the circle. 480BE53F-C3BB-4E3E-9021-FDE38475A829.MP4
  16. You have to export to the camera roll as a new edited duplicate, the original will not be overwritten in the photos app. You can however have that behaviour if your photos are stored outside of the photos app say in iCloud or Dropbox if that is what you require,
  17. Not sure if this is what you are trying to do but try the SelectionFromLayer macro in this Macro Library I collated for the iPad, it simply replaces the desktop command as a macro. Mud’s Macros SelectionFromLayer - convert a layer into a pixel selection (the missing desktop command) SelectAllLayers - select all layers quickly (the missing desktop command) DeSelectAllLayers - de select all layers quickly (the missing desktop command) PencilPortrait - Convert Photo to pencil sketch (Credit: Alpha Sierra, YouTube) InpaintCrop2 - fix edges after a straighten crop (Credit: Jim Welsh) Inpaint - the inpaint command (the missing desktop command) Mud's Macros.afmacros
  18. 1. Try using the move tool, once you select your text box you can resize by dragging a corner. Also you can select the text studio and scrub up and down to change text height. You can also enter the text studio and change font and size from there. See below. 2. Pretty sure that’s been reported before but one of the Serif engineers will likely confirm. Think the units changing dialog box should not have been displayed there. A5022C2E-8A38-43CA-8FF5-0B86C22DDC1F.MP4
  19. Thanks BR29, some of the IOS issues are not of Serif’s making ( by the way i’m just a user like you, not affiliated with Serif or Affinity in any way ). Google drive issue has been reported before, iCloud Drive, Dropbox (eventually)j and On my iPad folders also work, as for other cloud services expect problems like this.
  20. There is no need to use Youtube, you can do a screen recording in IOS and load directly to your post using the Click to choose files option below.
  21. Please watch the video. Can I ask where are your ..afassets file located, IOS can be a bit temperamental about where it loads from. In my example I have created a resources folder in the root of iCloud Drive. Other locations may not work as well.
  22. Thanks Patrick, at least you appreciate I was trying to help ! I’m off work recovering after surgery so have plenty of iPad time on my hands !. Goodnight !
  23. I’m sorry you feel that way, I’ve gone to the effort as a polite Englishman to make a video for you, and no, I am not being sarcastic. AD6FDEFC-6D22-4DFC-B743-1D72C18A5151.MP4
  24. I have a Canon camera that uses Wi-fi, but I no longer use the Wi-fi since the Canon camera or Canon app automatically converts any captured RAW files to jpg before transfer to iPad or iPhone over Wi-fi to reduce the transfer time as Wi-fi is very slow for large RAW files. Instead, I use the Apple USB connector to connect my iPad to my camera directly, in this way the IOS Photos app imports the CR2 RAW files directly over the much higher speed USB direct link. You can also use the Apple SD card reader to import RAW files as well.
