Hi Gabe, yes I do still have this issue. However I think I have just worked out why. I am running SuperDuper! as a backup strategy and there is a duplicate of my main drive mounted. The finder is trying to launch the Affinity package from the backup drive when it is already running from the main drive.

Hi I'm using version 1.7.1 If I have Designer open then move to finder, right click on a file and select open with and choose Affinity Designer. I get the Designer Splash screen and a error message: "Affinity Designer is already running". Thanks Andy

Hi Chris, it just happened the once (surprisingly solid otherwise ). I'm afraid I can't actually remember what I was doing or I would happily send the image over. I know I carried straight on with the same document after restarting the app and there were no further issues. Andy
