Affiity apps won't launch on Windows 10
in Pre-V2 Archive of Affinity on Desktop Questions (macOS and Windows)

I'm using Affinity Photo and Publisher quite a while without any problem.
Windows 10
Intel I7
16 GB Ram
I just bought Affinity Designer 1.8.3 without experimenting with te trial version. Why should I?
Installing went perfect.
Validating no problem
After clicking file/new the program should offer me a selection but the interface stays black and freezes.
After operation setup/repair:
same problem.
After de-installation and re-install: the same situation.
The faq 'Frequent freezing in Designer' offers no solution.
What's the next trick?
