Norwegian keyboard layout, you use the brackets by holding ctrl+alt+ 8/9-key -
For example, instead you could use shift and mouse wheel to adjust the size. Taking your hand of the mouse and using the bracket keys to increase/decrease the size is kind of awkward imo.
