    Hi Puck,
Yes, the issue persists in v1.7.3. I've bumped the report yet again since it wasn't checked/reviewed despite being already assigned to a dev. I'm sorry for the inconvenience this is causing you.

Hi MEB, I just wanted to remind you. It's not a problem that really bothers me. As long as everything else works I can live with it. :) But good to know that the developers will work on it.

    Hi KevinPhoto,
    Welcome to Affinity Forums :)
Out of curiosity, aren't you able to reduce the noise using either the live filter version (menu Layer > New Live Filter Layer > Noise > Denoise) or the destructive version (menu Filters > Noise > Denoise)? If so do you mind attaching a file/sample where both live and destructive versions fail to remove the noise properly? What type of images are you working with?

Hi MEB, just give us back the old filter and everything will be fine  :)

When working in a 300dpi document (or any resolution document for that matter), if I copy any object and go to File - New From Clipboard, the newly created document is at 96dpi.
Surely this should also be at 300dpi, or mimic the resolution from the document is was copied from? Just putting this out there.

I can confirm this behavior. It also irritates me every time.

    Hi user_0815,
Thanks for your report. I'm not sure if this is indeed working as intended. I will check with the dev team and will get back to you.

Hi MEB, maybe it has already been mentioned elsewhere, but "Remove White Matte" and "Remove Black Matte" doesn't seem to do anything and has no function! But perhaps I'm just too stupid to understand what these functions should do ... hmmm ...

    :)
