    No Brushes in .116

Still no brushes in Beta 118 (german language) ...
  2. Ok, I uploaded the file. Good luck and have fun!
  3. or 1.) The Document is nearly 500 MB 2.) Step by step? I really don't know what you want? It is clear after all. I originally created this file in Photo 1.4.2, later on I edited it with 1.5.2, and then - because of the beta test to try it out - opened it in 1.7 Beta and made changes (metal off, no color shifts). Then I switched to Metal ON (in 1.7 Beta) and there was this color shift.
  4. 1. Are you using the latest version? Photo Beta 116 2. Can you reproduce it? Yes (if you cannot then we may struggle to also, making it even harder to fix) 3. Does it happen for a new document? If not do you have a document you can share that shows the problem? The file was once created in 1.4.2 / 1.5.2 4. If you cannot provide a sample document then please give an accurate description of the problem for example it should include most of the following: • What application (Designer/Photo/Publisher) are you using? Photo Beta 116 • What is your operating system and version (Windows 10, OSX Mojave, iOS 12 etc)? OSX Mojave 10.14.4 • What happened for you (and what you expected to happen) ? • Provide a recipe for creating the problem (step-by-step what you did). I just re-created this older file in Beta 116 • Screenshots (very handy) or a screen capture/video. See above • Any unusual hardware (like tablets or external monitors or drives that may affect things) or relevant other applications like font managers or display managers. Nope, nothing. • Did this same thing used to work and if so have you changed anything recently? (software or hardware) I haven't changed anything recently! There's trouble with metal from time to time.

    No Brushes in .116

No brushes here, too. In my case the brushes are gone, although raster_brushes.propcol and vector_brushes.propcol are in the corresponding folder. --> user.zip <--
  6. I see! Many thanks for this information.

    +1
  8. Hi Chris, could you please explain what limitations these are?

    Nik Collection Plugins

And as long as this has not happened (I mean updating the plug-ins through DxO) you can use the NIK filters as stand-alone programs. The damage is therefore limited

    Nik Collection Plugins

    Maybe this will help

Hi smadell, thank you for sharing
  12. This also happens with MacOS Mojave / Publisher document also created with previous beta.
  13. Hi srg, I have the same issue. However, this only happens with some pictures. Probably depends on which live filters you use. https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/75993-differences-when-opening-pre-170-afphoto-files-in-170106/&tab=comments#comment-396393
  14. This is probably a stupid question, but I want to buy a drawing tablet and wonder if Affinity Software (Mac) is compatible with all tablets on the market. Kind regards, Puck (iMac 2017, 16 GB RAM, Intel Iris Plus Graphics 640 1536 MB, MacOS 10.14.3)
  15. I don't know, to be honest. I tried to reproduce that with a 28 page document, and Publisher crashed
  16. Hi, are you sure your Mac is compatible with OS Mojave? I can' t install Mojave on my 2010 iMac, and your machine is two years older. Apple lists the following computers as compatible: (see secreenshot) Could that be the reason that your computer reacts so slowly with Publisher? I'm just curious. Cheers, Puck
  17. "Vermissen" heißt nicht "einfordern". Aber du sagst es selbst, es wäre wünschenswert. Ob man es erwarten kann? Ja, sicher. Ob man es erwarten soll in der ersten (Voll)-Version? Warum nicht? Aber wenn diese Funktion später noch implementiert wird, ist es auch gut. Kein Stress. Der Preis des Programs hat damit nichts zu tun. === "Missing" doesn't mean "claiming". But you say it yourself, it would be desirable. Can one expect it? Yes, of course. Should one expect it in the first (full) version? Why not? But if this function is implemented later, it's also good. No stress. The purchase price of the program has nothing to do with this.
  18. Hello team, I miss in Publisher the possibility of an overprint preview, as well as the possibility to set individual colors or objects to "overprint" or "cut out" (hope this is the right term, maybe "omit" is better?). I did not find a satisfying answer in the forum. Are these features available and I just can't find them? Regards, Puck
=== Hello Dominik, I'm 100% with you. I do not criticize Serif. The probability of a later implementation is very high, even with an own persona. And until then there are different workarounds, as you have already described. Cheers, Puck
  20. Hallo Dominik, vielen Dank Ich bin mir dessen durchaus bewusst ("no answer does not mean anything personal towards you. Sometimes ..."), deswegen ja auch der fette Smilie hinter dem Satz -- Ich denke, die Entwickler müssen noch einiges tun, eine Überdruckenvorschau ist essentiell wichtig für ein Layoutprogram, wenn es in der Druckvorstufe Anwendung finden will, ebenso eine Voransicht in CMYK (wenn man denn ein Dokument in RGB anlegt) -- "Soft Proof" ist nicht der Weisheit letzter Schluss, will ich meinen. PS. Danke für den Link Grüße, Puck
  21. I will take a closer look. Thank you!
  22. I think I'm gonna buy this tablet. It fully satisfies my needs. https://www.amazon.de/dp/B07312ZQC4/ref=psdc_430217031_t2_B0752B7WNF
  23. To ALL of you: I want to thank you all, you've been a great help!! Kind regards, Puck (iMac 2017, 16 GB RAM, Intel Iris Plus Graphics 640 1536 MB, MacOS 10.14.3)
