Fernet Branca is a very popular alcoholic drink in my country. Each year they hold a contest aimed to artists and designers to create a series of posters. Well said budaloco; that's what I do, just make my page larger to compensate and add my crops to the top document layer...

Maybe this can help. I added the bleed size (6mm / 3mm for each side) as a math operation inside "document setup options" to the page side. Then I went to "margins" and added 3 mm for every side. This creates a blue line that you can use as a reference while the affinity team updates the app, the trim lines will have to be created by the user of course.
