@GarryP thank you for reply. Can i ask you to download same sample file from welcome menu in tutorials panel? And do same thing i did? I selected rabbit group and tried moving it. Also could you specify your cpu model?

Latest drivers. View quality doesnt make any difference. It still moves with these square artfacts. at first I thought it was because of weak gpu. Now I can see it uses cpu only basically. gpu usage is only around 15 %. On video I made this picture 1/4 of its original 4k size - 500 px height, and it still stutters the same way.
I also tested it on my work computer, specs are: i5 6500 , 32g ram, ssd, radeon 460, and perfomance is the same.
And I tested photoshop with alike huge project, in similar situation. It stutters too but no artifacts and it uses only up to 60% cpu

I did what you recomended. Russian language showed up, but hyphenation doesnt work. Any suggestions?

So.. Ive been testing af des af pho and af pub.
Perfomance on my computer isnt perfect.
As you can see perfomance on my ipad pro 2nd gen is better than on pc.
my specs are: i5-7500, samsung ssd evo, 16 gigs of ram, nvidia 1030.
Can someone point out if that is my pc is weak or it is normal perfomance ( this is default sample ).
perfomance is the same across all affinity apps btw

AD 1.7.2.471 freezes (crash basically) when I press export persona using file created in AD on ipad 1.7.2.6
export on ipad itself works perfectly fine

Hi! can you tell me what files are to enable hyphenation? like extendion? or where to put them?
i installed dictionaries for my russian language (.aff and .dic) but cant understand how to install hyphenation dictionary

i experienced crashes too. i just press button that leads back to gallery more often to save file.
i had touch glitches(everything moves not like it should, cant rotate etc), rename crashes, eps import crashes. hope devs knows that these issues exist, because these bugs are not consistent. and i dont have time to record my screen while i work untll i have another crash =(

Hi guys.
1st (video) issue still not fixed
2nd (photo) I already tired of going to context menu to change planes, it’s crazy. It’s eazier for me to draw isometric icon in Procreate than to fiddle around pressing small icon of context menu. Maybe it will be possible to make it separate?
3. Still no global color on iPad?

Yes. I love them too. but I cant buy something that I even didnt SEE working.
Right now actually i dont love them as much , because updates became very rare, but we still need some more functionality for AD which is lacking

Right now the only way I know of sending .afdesign file to mac via airdrop is to go to files in ios and share it.
Is it as simple as it gets? can I share right from the app? i can only find export options like eps jpeg etc

I have a Pretty stupid question. how can I create vector brushes in affinity designer? I mean in adobe illustrator I can make a vector brush round or ellipse and rotate it in any direction, but I can’t seem to find this feature in affinity designer . Is it there? I can create simple round brush and I can create brushes from PNG files, but I can’t seem to find any settings to tweak simple round brush, because brushes created from PNG file are basically raster brushes not vector brushes . Sorry for my English

While I waited for answers, I tested designer and bumped into some strange bug. I copy stuff from one designer file into new file in designer, but designer crashes.
I pinned a video and original file, just in case.

Hello!
I watched AD for ipad keynote , where it was shown integration between designer and photo. Like when I can drag my file from designer to photo and edit it. I tried it. It worked.
But, can I place this imported designer document, into affinity photo document? Like you do in desktop version with embedded documents?
I didnt find it. Also, is this possible to place affinity photo document into another affinity photo document? Didnt find such option.

Hello Stokerg! Thank you very much. I understood what was my problem with merging. Merge down works as I was expecting unlike other merging options.
As for crashes.. they are random. I experience them once ore twice a day. Sorry for no useful info..

I did some more testing. I loaded giant 8k poster psd with layers in both apps and compared perfomance by moving same layer group.
