    Hi

    I'm looking for similar option(I linked image to this post) in Photo. I found Selective color fillter, BUT it lacks colors like in photoshop. lIke purple. Is there similar functionality?

    My main case of use is when I have this photo, that was taken in god knows what light conditions, photos are heavily purple (Tint slider won' thelping), so I use this feature in photoshop, and easily remove any purple/Blue/magenta.

    Hm. Your file was extremely laggy, impossible to work on my Ryzen 5700G which is always snappy.
     

    So I created new document and pasted your data in it, then I removed fx from the layers in the bottom, and it became buttery smooth. I’m not sure if that was the solution was, I’ll try find time to test it more tomorrow

     

    ps: I also tried removing every layer one after another but no luck

     

    pps: I tested on IPad Pro 2017 and everything works smoothly all the time

    Hi, did you try to reinstall windows since your post with a video ? I'm just curious if you tried this, cause these lags on the video are suspicious

    Hi @Hellodesigners! My issue was solved become better by implementation of hardware acceleration. So in my case, if I want to increase performance, I need to enable it.

     

    I've read your thread. Video would be helpful to understand it better and in with what kind of project you experience slowdown . 

    I would start from increasing ram limit and enabling hardware acceleration

    Man... Im speechless.
    Im literally just gave affinity another chance and there it is again. The most stupid issue you can ever imagine, making it impossible to complete your task. BTW it seems my ipad doesnt have this issue Edit: I was wrong, its the same thing

    Where did you try to save the file to? Have you tried to save to desktop?

    Yes it does! but after some work done it stopped working

    I cant say why. I dont know. Also I dont have any mangal font in my file. Monserrat is old and I doubt it can malfunction

    Yes I tried to save it on desktop. Didnt work. Cyrillic on non cyrillic path, doesnt matter

    I've messed with all the performance and snapping settings with no change.

    hooked up to a 60Hz 1080p monitor and a 144Hz 1440p monitor

    I get better performance on my 2017 Macbook Pro! This is the only thing keeping me from loving this software and recommending it to people. Please do something.

    I upgraded my pc to ryzen 3700 x and rtx 2060 super  and performance stayed the same . maybe 5-10 percent better, but still not working properly

    My experience with Publisher

    Hi everyone!

    Yesterday I finished my first project made only in affinity publisher. Most of the time I use indesign, but this time, since brandbook I used was made in PDF, it was convenient for me to import PDF directly  into publisher and copy from it into my project file.

    Working as a graphic designer full time,  I do a lot of projects every day and if something is wrong about software, I will see it right away.

    So that’s what problems I found?

    1.       Same poor performance as I stated in this thread: https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/103368-poor-performance-on-windows/&tab=comments#comment-570688

    2.       When I was finishing project, publisher started lagging, and its actually different from my 1st point. This made working barely possible. When I selected and moved text  for example, there was a freeze for 5 seconds. After that no lags. But when  I scrolled to another page lag repeated. Interestingly, after I restarted publisher , problem went away. Before restarting software I checked system monitor, there was no 100 percent usage of anything. Just usual high load on CPU, just as with any affinity product. Sorry if I explained this problem  badly. P.s. all files are linked not embedded.

    3.       Non existent Hot key or Icon for Picture Frame Properties

    4.       Complex shortcut for preview mode, ctrl shift w is pretty big shortcut for such often used feature

    5.       I wasn’t been successful with text wrap feature. I made a short video :

     

    my PC is i5 7500, 16 gb ram, integrated graphics. Publisher version1.8.3.641
