  1. I'm wondering why don't you use Apple own iOS lock rotation button from control center?
  2. ^ Thanks for the help again! So it was that simple :) now Im starting to get this idea to drag these effects etc to single layers.
  3. MEB, THANKS A LOT!!! And now when i tried it i think Sanoy tried to say same thing, i just didn't get it from that short message. This was exactly what i want! Big thumbs up for this Forum and all the help this site is giving. Im new for the affinity family and been using Photoshop like 15 years so it gets time to get used to this new littlebit different workflow. Everyday i'm more impressed what i can do with this app with iPad and so far iv found that i can do pretty much same things what i regularly do with desktop Photoshop. Also MEB can you help me with another small question so i don't need to write new topic for it, the thing i do lot with Photoshop is i write text, then i make selection of invidual letters so i can for example add a photo inside the text to get texture there. Now with affinity If i use selection tool i can't pick the letters precisely, it picks more too from sides of the letters, i want it to be very precise.
  4. But it changes color of all the layers which are under the color adjustment layer? i don't want that! Well Im not sure If i do everything right because i can't double tap anywhere, single tap is enough to get hue at the bottom and changes all the layers colours. here is short video what i want to do https://www.dropbox.com/s/w1365l79pwpe8gf/File 18.7.2017 12.21.17.mov?dl=0 i only want to change the colour of that blue brush layer Instead changing the whole image like it now does.
  5. Sanoy, sadly no, i checked that before i wrote this topic (that's why i used eye example). Yes that guy on the video in first part has hue, but it only apply to mask, which isn't the thing i want to do, i do my stuffs like that second part of the video. Sadly he doesn't try to change the color of the eye there, i want to change the color of the brush lines which i made and try different colours, like draw three red lines and want to change them blue, with Photoshop this is very easy thing to do hue/saturation, but with affinity iv tried everything and can't find a solution. I can pick for example HSL adjust and there i have hue, when i change it it changes all the layers hue, now i actually found that you can stack new hue color afterwards with that brush layer only so the color of the background stays normal, but there's has to be better way to do this, because it's very hard to tweak your graphics If the main photo colors changing same time when your brush, you can't know what looks good. but i keep trying to find solution.
  6. Hello, something i do lot with Photoshop i can't get working with affinity iPad. Let's say i want to change woman eye color, i paint the color to the new layer, change it to hue or color, now the eyes are let's say green. What If i want to try blue? with Photoshop i choose hue/saturatio and change the colour to any other color. This iPad affinity has hue but it changing my main image color, it can't change the brush layer color? Do i need to do something for the layer where is brush for the eye to make it active or something? or do i need to do this some other way?
  7. If you didn't know from homescreen you can make duplicate file by chosing 3 lines from the bottom right, it says duplicate, so do this before you start experimenting so you still have that original file and you can just save what you did and now you have two versions. but sure save as would be nice too, but this is how iv done it so far.
  8. Robertochaves, You can already change it to bottom left, in settings there is left hand mode. It will change all other navigation too. Im lefty and the current right hand setup is better exactly for reason which you just said, now i can use my second hand to undo/redo.
  9. Hello, iv spend some time to get my workflow with this app and all the time im thinking undo/redo should be top middle also? Am i the only one? Right away when i started using this app i got that idea and it's still in my head all the time when im reaching undo which i do a lot and it doesn't feel effortless. I also get the idea why it is where it is, but maybe my workflow is just different, for example If i use pen and doing something and want to go undo, most times it would be just lot easier and faster go top middle with pen or fingers instead going down right (less movement for the hand). Also most of time my fingers pointing up so it would be easy to undo/redo from there. Also there's free space already at the top for that feature so.. is it hard to for example add feature which you can turn on or off, or what about even moving that thing where you want and taking it out of the grid etc? This is one of the most used function If it's not most so it should be very effortless and fast to use and people could like it to be where it's most natural for them to reach fast and effortlessly. i would like to hear what other thinks?
  10. Sorry, my mistake, i left one crucial point out I'm from Finland and that hit me! I have my language Finnish, so I thought maybe spellcheck is trying to use Finnish, I changed my iPad language to English and the red line was gone, that was workaround, but I thought I'm going to leave the English there too and add Finnish back to my main language and it works! Problem solved :) And no desktop I'm using my iPad Pro 10.5" and meant to post this to iPad area but noticed it went to wrong place? But anyway if someone else have this problem in future this is fix!
  11. Hello, what a great app you guys have! Been playing with it few hours last night and i can't get that red spellcheck line go away. I found from Google that it's easy to turn on or off with desktop version. I wrote: "In my wildest dreams" and wildest and dreams is saying it has problem. It shouldn't have? It's annoying to have that redline all the time, any fix? Thanks
