Affinity photo developers need to seriously make selection and moving objects much easier in iPad! It is such a hassle to select and copy to a new layer (why so many unnecessary steps?) ... and then to use the Move tool is a very aggravating chore which is MUCH MUCH easier in Photoshop! Come on... I'm sure you guys can do better than this considering how efficient and easy it is to do everything else in Affinity Photo. Please refine and simplify the selection, copy/paste and move functions in Affinity Photo for iPad.

Thank you very much! I've been trying to play around with it all night after watching several tutorials but no one mentioned the fact that recolor doesn't work on white! This needs to be told in the tutorial and placed in the manual.

i am trying to recolor the background of this enclosed image. However, when I make a selection of the white background and then use the Recolor adjustment layer nothing happens! Can someone please help me with it? I've watched the tutorial on using recolor adjustment but for some reason it's not working on this image. I can't figure out what I'm missing!

I tried saving the file in JPEG (Highest quality), PNG and TIFF to my Photo Album in iPad and when I open it in a number of different digital photo editing apps (Enlight, PicsArt, PicsPlay, Aviary, Filterra, etc.) and add text, upon saving it in the same format it was opened it blurs the text. This does not happen when I use these apps to add text to an image that I create in other art apps such as Procreate, Pigment, etc. and only happens in images created in Affinity Photo and then adding text in the aforementioned apps.

When I export a finished image in any format or setting option from Affinity Photo on my iPad Pro and then I add text to the image from another photo app, the text is not sharp but fuzzy. This only happens after I save an image done in Affinity, never with other images that are done in other digital apps. I try different settings to import the image, but it makes no difference. Why does this happen and is there a way to save it differently so I can later add sharp text? Thank you.

Can someone please explain simply what the stabilizer option does, and the difference between rope and window stabilizer?? I cannot understand the help documentation about it....can someone explain it in simple terms? Thank you very much!

After I place my text and then move out of the text tool, or close the image, when I return to the text layer to try to change the font and tap in the text box, it will only allow me to resize it but I cannot select it again to change the font...every time I try to tap in the blue box where the text is, it creates another text layer. I've tried multiple times in different ways to try to highlight the text and change the font but cannot! It appears that once you no longer have it highlighted initially you cannot highlight it again to change the font. I have to delete the layer and start with a new text. Is this a bug or is there something I so missing??? --- ADDENDUM: I think I've found the problem: somehow I rasterized the layer and made it a pixel layer; therefore, I could no longer format the text. I think that is the answer.

Is it possible to adjust a mask after it has been applied to a selection? If I need to add or subtract from the mask is it possible to do that as you can in the desktop version? Thank you very much

Thank you very much. I thought perhaps there was some type of tool or option as in Photoshop where you can use the eye dropper to select a particular color and then use the color selector to change it using a specific tolerance. It sure would be nice to have that feature in a future update!!

How do I change a particular color in an image to another color? For example, if I have a green toned background and want to make it to brown, how do I do that without changing all the green in the picture? Thank you very much!

I've made a selection, copied it and pasted it to make a new layer. When I apply an adjustment such as Brightness/Contrst it affects all the layers including the background...how do I make it apply only to the layer beneath it (the one I created from a selection)?

I have watched the tutorial many times on how to use the Smart Selection Brush and the Refine Selection Tool and I cannot make a good selection of the enclosed image of the girl's hair. I would appreciate any help. It looks so easy on the tutorials but when I try it, it leaves a bunch of the green background or it chops off much of the long fine hair no matter how small or large I make the selection brush....very frustrating.
