  1. Hi Sean P, Oh you're brilliant!!!!!! Thank you Sean it worked! Strange because i actually followed another post where i had to click on that same file ''sRGB IEC61966-2.1'', but I obviously did not do the same steps. I will make sure i copy and paste this info in case it ever happens again. So glad that is sorted [and for your patience] Much appreciated, Lefty777
  2. Hi Sean, yes both monitors are exactly the same, I did check that. I have done a screenshot of the devices tab for you. Just in case, i have also done a screen shot of the other 2 tabs too. As you will note how yellow the background/canvas it. I don't undertsand what you mean by drop down monitor 1 and 2, however I simply drag Affinity onto the other monitor. I have attached 2 screenshots anyway. Hi Mark, I am no sure how to provide you with those ICC profile settings? Can you tell me how to do that please? Yes, i know, i thought it was working fine, after standing up it looked whiter, but it really isn't. Whether in CMYK or RGB it is the same.
  3. Hi everyone, me again, I am unfortunately still having the same issue with the white being creme. I thought at first it was the monitor but both monitors are the same. And, as someone mentioned in an earlier post, the navigator shows pure white compared to the canvas being a creme colour. I have attached a file with the creme on it, it'll be interesting to see if it looks white your end. It is so distracting when trying to create anything My monitors are: AOC V27t Benq senseye 3 G2222HDL Settings were to: sRGBIEC61966-2.1 Graphics card: AMD Radeon R9 200 series Windows 10 PC desktop If I stand up and move around and look at my monitor from different positions, yeah the colour lightens but it is still not a true white. I can use the navigator as a comparison too and the canvas is definitely creme. Even if I place an image on to the canvas any white areas become creme. If there are any more files you need to look into this please let me know. As long as you let me know how to acquire them. Thank you, cream.afdesign
  4. Hi Mark, i answered you in the other post, thank you. Apologises for setting up another post, my error.
  5. Hi Mark, I am using Version 1.5.3.69. Strangest thing is that everything seems okay now, not sure why that is. I double checked and did a screen save of a white area on the computer and put it in Affinity and it is white again. Thanks for your help. If it happens again i will let you know. Much appreciated
  6. Hi Rubs, Okay, that's interesting to know, but why isn't that doing the same when I use Illustrator, i still get my pure whites there?
  7. Unfortunately i am wrong, it is still creme not the monitor, I have a totally creme page and even tried putting a word document next to it, you could tell the difference. Hope you have a solution for me
  8. I'm just wondering whether it is me and the lighting in my room. When I stand up the yellowness becomes white, so it could be my monitor from a different angle. Good grief, i am a dill!
  9. Hi Alfred, Yes I tried that and it isn't transparency either Carina
  10. Hi Meb, I've actually deleted that file but you can still see it here , a yellow background i cannot get rid of and the white area in the logo is yellow too. Thanks tcp.afdesign
  11. Hi Alfred and Mark, My apologises i didn't see your messages before. Display:1. AOC V27t - AMD Radeon R9 200 series Colour profile is set to set sRGB IEC61966-2.1 If I use Illustrator the white is a true white, so i am baffled why this is happening in Affinity. Is there a fix for this?
  12. Hi everyone, I am having an old issue but not been able to resolve it. The white looking creme, i cannot get a true white and when placed over the white it is white but placed half over the colour it goes creme. Almost like it has a transparency, but I have no opacity as such used. Very weird. I'm new using Affinity but used Illustrator before so am pretty knowledgeable with using the basics. But I can't seem to fix this issue. I am at a loss why this is so. Anyone know? Even checked the colour which is correct FFFFFF, it can't be my monitor either. I am using a PC, windows 10 64 bit
  13. Hi there, Just wondering why I always get a beige/creme artboard and not a clear white artboard? I cannot find anywhere in the settings or preferences to change this and i am sure other people have probably had the same issue. Could someone please advise me how to correct this please? I am running a Windows 10 PC 64bit Thank you,
  14. Hi everyone, Wow! First, what a great program, can't wait to master it! Does Affinity have a plugin likee Adobe's configurator at all? or are you thinking of creating one at a later date? And of course for Affinity photo. Like this: http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/configurator.html It helps you create your own panels for quick access depending on your needs an d what you are working on on a regular basis. I think it would be a great additive for Affinity. Or is there another plugin similar? Thank you,
