Nikon D7500 RAW problem?

Hi! Affinity on Ipad can't seem to be able to open my Nikon D7500 raw files. It creates the document and opens it, but I don't see any photo. It's just black. Is it normal? My Ipad stock photo app is able to see it. Would it be because the D7500 is a too much new camera? Best,
