Please add this. Holding Shift while using the crop tool should have the same behavior as holding Shift while creating a rectangular marquee. Even using a specific ratio in the crop tool (constrained) doesn't have the same behavior because the right-most edge of the crop area follows the mouse at all times. Here's a gif I made to illustrate the difference. Marquee tool is the expected behavior.

I second this, it's not necessary and frankly doesn't go with the aesthetics of the rest of the program.

When creating selections using the lasso tool, I find it useful to undo or backtrack my selection path by hitting the Delete key as many times as necessary. Might be a small feature but I think it's handy.
