  1. Hi Affinity team, I have ran into the same problem a couple of times. Whenever I have a group layer with the blend mode set to "Transfer" with a transparent background and I want to export it to a png file, I get a solid fill. I asked a friend about this and he told me that this is more of a feature than a bug because many graphic programs like AD are not able to export these blend modes correctly when there is transparency involved or is this not correct? Thanks. Cheers, Stefan
  2. Thanks for your help, this works quite well, but unfortunately this cuts out the keyhole and combines everything to a new curve. I mean I can make changes with the curve tool, but it would be nice to have the keyhole on its own layer.
  3. Hi, I am new to Affinity Photo and Designer and graphic software in general, so I have a very basic question. How can I use a shape in AP to mask out an area of another shape. For example, I have a big rectangle and I want to design a keyhole into it, so that the area of the keyhole is transparent and I can look through the rectangle onto the background. I tried to achieve this but every time I use a mask on the rectangle I only cut out everything outside the mask, but I want to cut out the mask or shape itself out of the rectangle. Thanks.
  4. Hi Guys, have to bump this. Is there a way to export the positions of single elements as a list? Thanks.
  5. Hi Dave, yeah this works for the object the effect is applied to, but not another object which overlaps the shadow. I think I have to fake the shadow with a copy of the object which I can change in its form.
  6. Hi Affinity Forum, is there a way to cut or hide the shadow of an object, when it has a decreased opacity? When I assign an outer shadow effect to an object with a hight offset, I can see the shadow behind the object. Additionally, how would you approach the same problem when the shadow of an object bleeds into the borders of another object with low opacity? Thanks. Stefan
  7. Hi Affinity community, I am not sure if this is already possible, but I don't think so. I really would love to be able to export the positions of all the object in my document/project. I am designing GUIs for a sampler program and I have to know the X/Y positions for later purposes. If I could simply export a text file with the names of the objects and their positions, that would be a huge timesaver. To be able to include/exclude layers in this export would be a plus, but not a must-have. So if this is already possible, please enlighten me, if not, I would be very happy to see this in an upcoming update. Best regards, Stefan
